EVOX S.A. provided and operated the slipform system for the construction of reinforced concrete caissons for the Terminal 2 land reclamation works at Malta Freeport.
The project involved the extension of the Freeport's quay infrastructure, including the expansion of the North Quay and West Quay of Terminal 2. The works formed part of a major land reclamation project designed to increase the terminal's capacity and enable it to accommodate larger container vessels. The expansion included 176 m of quay extension at the North Quay and 195 m at the West Quay.
The main contractor was Polidano Brothers Limited, and the client was Malta Freeport Terminals Ltd.
